Stephan Lake Lodge is located 140 air miles from Anchorage in the spectacular Talkeetna Mountains and situated on 5 deeded acres with an exclusive lease of approximately 20,000 acres of pristine wilderness. Access is via floatplane landing on the lake, or fixed wing plane landing on the private 3,000+ ft. airstrip. The lodge has been in operation since the late 1960's and offers a casual atmosphere and comfortable accommodations. Overlooking Stephan Lake, the lodge is built of local spruce logs with private rooms, bath, showers, and a massive treated deck with covered porch. The spacious lounge has an open natural stone fireplace and is a wonderful place to relax and share stories of the day's adventure. The lodge features two Wi-Fi systems, radiant floor heat, indoor and outdoor bars, commercial laundry room, stainless steel commercial kitchen, six bedrooms ( five with private baths), three feet of insulation under new metal roof, flat screen TV, new beds and linens, new artesian well, four generators, aircraft base station radio with five hand-helds, and a large pantry room.
